Scope of these terms

These terms apply to use of the public website, its content, enquiry forms and account-access features.

Separate terms may apply to programme enrolment, learning services, mentoring, organisational delivery, procurement arrangements and payments.

ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS

Using the website

By accessing or using this website, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree with them, you should stop using the website.

If you use the website on behalf of a company, public body, partnership or another organisation, you confirm that you have authority to act for that organisation.

These terms do not remove or reduce any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

WEBSITE INFORMATION

Information is provided for general purposes

Programme information

Programme descriptions, schedules, formats, learning outcomes and availability may change. Confirm current information with the RDE team before making a decision or commitment.

No automatic enrolment

Submitting an enquiry or registering an interest does not guarantee acceptance, enrolment, funding, certification, employment or a place on a programme.

No professional advice

General website content does not constitute legal, financial, medical, employment, procurement or other regulated professional advice.

Career and learning outcomes

Results depend on individual participation, experience, assessment, circumstances and external opportunities. We do not guarantee a job, promotion, income or other specific outcome.

ACCEPTABLE USE

Use the website lawfully and responsibly

You must not

  • Use the website for unlawful, fraudulent or misleading activity
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems or data
  • Introduce malware, harmful code or disruptive technology
  • Interfere with the operation, security or availability of the website
  • Use automated tools to extract content or data without permission

You must also not

  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority
  • Submit false, abusive, discriminatory or defamatory material
  • Use another person’s personal information without lawful authority
  • Copy or exploit protected content beyond permitted use
  • Encourage another person to breach these terms

ACCOUNTS AND SECURITY

Protecting access to your account

You are responsible for providing accurate information and taking reasonable steps to keep your account and sign-in details secure.

Do not share passwords or permit another person to use your account without proper authority. Contact us promptly if you believe that an account has been accessed or used without permission.

Our protective actions

We may temporarily restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected misuse, protect users, maintain security or comply with a legal obligation.

We will act proportionately and consider relevant contractual and statutory rights.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Ownership and permitted use of content

Unless stated otherwise, the website and its text, branding, graphics, learning descriptions, designs and other original content belong to Robust Digital Expert Limited or are used with permission from the relevant owner.

Permitted use

You may view the website and print or download reasonable extracts for personal use or internal evaluation of RDE services.

Permission required

You must obtain written permission before reproducing, adapting, republishing, selling, licensing or commercially exploiting protected website content.

You must not remove ownership notices, misrepresent RDE content as your own or use our name, logo or branding in a way that suggests an unauthorised relationship or endorsement.

APPLICATIONS AND PAYMENTS

Enquiries do not create a programme contract

Submitting an application, enquiry or registration of interest allows us to review your request and communicate with you. It does not, by itself, create an enrolment contract or require RDE to offer a programme place.

Where an application is accepted, we will provide relevant programme information, fees, payment arrangements and applicable enrolment terms before a binding commitment is made.

Payment security

Where payment is required, an authorised payment link or invoice may be provided separately. Do not send card details through ordinary email or general website enquiry forms.

WEBSITE AVAILABILITY

Operation and maintenance

We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed.

We may update, suspend, restrict or withdraw part of the website for maintenance, security, legal, operational or development reasons.

Security

We use proportionate measures to protect the website, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

You remain responsible for protecting your device, software, connections and information when using the internet.

EXTERNAL WEBSITES

Links and third-party services

The website may contain links to payment providers, social networks, identity providers, learning resources and websites operated by other organisations.

External links are provided for convenience or information. Unless expressly stated, a link does not mean that RDE controls, approves or endorses the external website, its content or its services.

Third-party websites operate under their own terms, privacy notices and security practices. Review those documents before using an external service or providing personal information.

RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY

Fair and lawful limitations

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any statutory consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

Consumer use

If you use the website as a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill, subject to applicable law.

Business use

If you use the website for business purposes, responsibility for business losses will be determined by applicable law and any separate written agreement between your organisation and RDE.

We are not responsible for losses caused solely by events outside our reasonable control, your breach of these terms, or your failure to take reasonable protective action.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Privacy and cookies

Our Privacy page explains how we collect, use, share, retain and protect personal information.

Our Cookies page explains how cookies and similar website technologies may be used.

Accessibility

Our Accessibility page explains our approach to inclusive access, reasonable adjustments and reporting accessibility barriers.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Keeping these terms current

We may update these terms when the website, our services or applicable requirements change. Updated website terms apply from the date they are published on this page.

Changes to these website terms do not automatically alter an existing programme, employment, procurement or organisational contract.

GOVERNING LAW

Applicable law and disputes

These website terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory legal protections and jurisdiction rights available to you. If you use the website for business purposes, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

Contact us first if you have a concern so that we have an opportunity to understand and address it.
